At weweave, we commit ourselves to protecting your personal information in all conscience. This document describes what we do to protect your data and how we process it. By visiting our websites or by using our services or by submitting personal information to weweave through our websites and services, you are consenting to the collection, use, transfer and disclosure of information as described in this document.

When using the terms “us”, “we” or “weweave” in this document, it refers to our company: weweave UG (limited liability), Fichtenweg 8d, 65510 Idstein, Germany.

“Personal information” refers to information that identifies you personally, either alone or in combination with other information available.

Where we process personal information

We collect and process personal information in the following scopes and services:

  • License purchase
    • Email address
    • Firstname
    • Lastname
    • Company
    • Country
  • Contact form (accessible through weweave.net/contact/contact-form/)
    • Email address
  • Requests via email
  • Requests via the DNN Store Ticket System

License purchase

For reasons of simplicity and convenience, our software is distributed through our brokers FastSpring and the DNN Store. When purchasing license for our Atlassian apps, Atlassian acts as broker. When purchasing a service or a product through one of our brokers, the broker acts on his own behalf. This means, there’s a contract between you and the broker and you will receive an invoice directly from the broker.

After you have completed a purchase through one of our brokers, the broker sends relevant order details to use via e-mail or to our servers using an automated technical interface. The following personal information is being transmitted and processed by us in this case:

  • Email address
  • Firstname
  • Lastname
  • Company
  • Purchased products

We do no profiling with your personal information at all.

Contact form and requests via email

By submitting a request to us using one of the provided contact forms or the support e-mail address, an email to our support team will be generated. The mail is stored in the mailbox of our support team. We will only use the submitted information to solve your request and to answer your questions. We will not transfer your personal data to any third parties without your explicit confirmation.

We use “G Suite”, an email service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). By sending us personal information via email to an @weweave.net address, it will be stored and processed on Google’s servers worldwide according to Google’s privacy policy: https://www.google.com/intl/en/cloud/security/gdpr/

We also use “Jira Service Desk”, a service desk provided by Atlassian. Pty Ltd (“Atlassian”). By submitting a request to us using the contact form on our pages on Atlassian’s Marketplace or by sending us personal information via email to an @weweave.atlassian.net address, it will be stored and processed on Atlassian’s servers worldwide according to Atlassian’s privacy policy: https://www.atlassian.com/legal/privacy-policy

Requests via the DNN Store Ticket System

Our broker DNN Store allows for submitting support requests to us via their own Ticket System. This Ticket System is operated solely by the DNN Store. We have no control over how the information you enter there is being processed or stored. By submitting a support request to us using the DNN Store Ticket System, an email to our support team is triggered including our name and the entered request. We will use your information solely for solving your request.

General information

We will not forward any of your personal information to third parties without your express consent.

We would like to expressly point out that the transmission of data via the Internet (e.g., by e-mail) can offer security vulnerabilities. We do our best to protect your information from these vulnerabilities by consistently providing and using all of our services over HTTPS and encrypting your information whenever possible (i.e. when performing database backups). However, it is impossible to safeguard the data completely against access by third parties. We cannot assume any liability for damages arising as a result of such security vulnerabilities.

The use by third parties of all published contact details for the purpose of advertising is expressly excluded. We reserve the right to take legal steps in the case of the unsolicited sending of advertising information; e.g., by means of spam mail.

At any time, you can request a copy of your personal data stored at weweave which we will provide in a structured format (such as JSON or XML). Furthermore, you can request the deletion of this data via email at any time.
