We are happy to announce that we recently released an upgrade to our Jira app Mermaid Charts & Diagrams for Jira which brings a new editing experience with a live preview. We also added new features such as syntax and error highlighting.
The new editing experience adds a lot of features that eases the definition of the Mermaid diagram code. When adding a new diagram to a ticket, you can select one of the predefined templates and use it as “starting point”. The new editor also supports syntax and error highlighting and shows a live preview of the diagram. This allows the user to see the diagram changes even before saving the code.
